How to Keep Your Husband Happy as a Muslimah

July 15, 2012

As a Muslimah (Muslim Woman), you need to be kind in keeping your husband happy and satisfied at all the times, because he is the most precious person for you. In fact, your major responsibility, as a housewife, is to secure and safeguard your husband’s needs and aspirations. Doing so is highly obligatory, as the keys to your paradise “lie on the feet of your husband.” So, do you want to keep your Man smiley at all the times? Following are some important tips to follow:

Accept Him
Accept your husband as he is, don’t expect the world from him. Remember that your husband is the sole provider, the sentinel guardian, and the custodian lord of the family; therefore, he deserves special treatment from you. Always accept his shortcomings and love him at all the times.

Be Lovely and Attractive to Him
Sure, be that attractive woman to your partner. Wear that top that makes you sassy for your husband. Also, wear some charming piece of earrings during the weekend to make him more attractive to you, and update your make-up before bed to make yourself more captivating for your hubby.

Satisfy His Sexual Needs
During bed time, make sure you satisfy your husband very well. Men want a good sex. If your Man desires it, give it to him as he pleases. Don’t keep turning down your husband’s offer without concrete reasons (like during your monthly period or when suffering from serious illness). The Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him] said: “If a husband calls his wife to bed and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning” (Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 4, Hadith No. 460).

Support Him
If your partner is down and depressed, go near him and put some hands on him to cheer him up. Ask him what is wrong and how you could help. Remember that he might be down probably because he failed in providing your needs, as most Men’s struggles are geared toward their family. Calm your husband down. Offering him some drink, hugs, or some kisses might get him out of that dark, gloomy situation of his.

Let Him Take Control
Your Man is your guardian angel, your custodian lover, and your chief protector: let him take control. Respect his decisions and suggestions. This will not only put a smile on your love’s face, it will make him feel respected as well.

Keeping your husband safe and happy is one of your major responsibilities as a housewife, in Islam. Learning to do so comes from the heart and good knowledge of the shari’ah. Read Quran and other Islamic materials constantly and keep learning the above tips. In the end, it worth it to score your paradise ticket ahead while keeping your soul mate contented.
